2019 Peak pobeda

In the summer of 2019 we had planned to climb both Peak Communism (7.495m) and Peak Korzhenevskaya (7.105m). Due to problems with the helicopters in Tadzjikistan we were forced to change our plans last minute and decided to make an attempt to climb Peak Pobeda (7.439m). Unfortunately we were forced back down due to the severely bad weather and did not reach the summit.

2017 Peak Pobeda & Khan Tengri expedition

In the summer of 2017, the team of Gijs, Martin and Allert summitted Khan Tengri (7.010m) via the normal route via the south side. Due to sickness, Martin had to leave the expedition. Gijs and Allert stayed longer and made an unsuccessful attempt of Peak Pobeda (7.439m), which has to date not seen a Dutch ascent. Both mountains are located on the border between China and Kyrgyzstan.

2016 Peak Lenin expedition

On the 25th of July 2016 three out of four of the expedition members summitted Peak Lenin (7.134m). 

The expedition lasted about three weeks. The team climbed the north face, via the normal route. The 2016 expedition was unsupported and conducted in alpine style.
